šÆ Role Overview The Counsellor is responsible for guiding students or clients about Academy courses, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable programs, and converting enquiries into successful admissions. The role requires strong communication skills, empathetic listening, and the ability to meet monthly admission targets.
Enquiry Handling & Conversion Handle all leads from walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, website and social media.
Explain course details, syllabus, fees, career opportunities, and outcomes to potential students.
Convert enquiries into confirmed registrations by understanding student needs.
Achieve monthly admission targets assigned by Academy.
Fitness industry opportunities CPT, crash courses & certification Career growth as trainers Identify student concerns and provide clear information to help them take the right decision.
Assist students with documentation, registration forms, EMI options (if applicable).
Follow-Ups & Lead Management Maintain regular follow-ups with all potential students.
Track enquiries and update status in CRM/software daily.
Build strong relations with prospective students until conversion.
Achieve high follow-up discipline to avoid lead leakage.
Batch Coordination & Student Experience Coordinate with Academy team for upcoming batches, schedules, and sessions.
Assist in onboarding students on the first day of the program.
Provide ongoing support and handle queries throughout their course.
Marketing & Outreach Collaboration Support Academy in college tie-ups, campus drives and seminars.
Participate in events and workshops to generate new leads.
Share feedback with marketing team based on student queries and trends.
Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily counselling reports and admission logs.
Track performance against daily/weekly/monthly targets.
Submit reports to Academy Manager with insights and improvement areas.
ā Key Skills Required Excellent communication (Hindi & English) Strong convincing and sales ability Empathy, patience, and listening skills Confidence in public speaking & presentations Basic understanding of fitness industry (preferred) Ability to handle pressure and meet targets š Qualifications Graduation preferred (any stream) 1ā3 years of experience in counselling/sales/admissions Freshers with strong communication may also apply
ā± Work Schedule 9-hour shift Weekends may be required depending on batch schedules
