Project Objectives:

The main goal of this project is to understand and evaluate how small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in India select ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. The project aims to identify the key factors that influence ERP selection, the steps involved in the decision-making process, and the challenges that SMEs typically face during the evaluation and implementation of ERP solutions.

By the end of the project, students will be able to

Analyze the ERP selection process followed by Indian SMEs Identify the critical selection criteria such as cost, customization, support, and scalability Understand the challenges in ERP implementation for resource-constrained SMEs Suggest best practices for smoother ERP adoption SMEs often struggle with selecting the right ERP system due to limited budgets, technical knowledge, and vendor confusion. This project solves the problem by guiding students to explore ERP decision-making frameworks and recommending strategies to improve ERP selection for SMEs.

The expected outcome is a well-researched report that provides
