Project Objectives:

Problem: Inefficiencies in production processes lead to increased waste and operational costs.

Outcome: Implement Lean principles to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

Project Tasks:

Week 1-2: Lean Manufacturing Principles Study

Research Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).

Identify key waste areas in manufacturing.

Week 3-4: Process Mapping & Data Collection

Conduct time-motion study of existing processes.

Collect production cycle time and defect rate data.

Week 5-6: Bottleneck Identification & Solution Design

Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

Propose process improvements using Lean tools.

Week 7-8: Pilot Implementation & Monitoring

Implement proposed changes on a small scale.

Measure improvement in efficiency and waste reduction.

Week 9-10: Full-Scale Implementation & Quality Control

Extend Lean improvements to full production.

Develop quality control checklists for long-term sustainability.

Week 11-12: Report & Final Presentation

Document improvements and cost savings.

Present to factory management and stakeholders.
