Project Objectives:

Build an IoT-enabled smart irrigation system that automates water supply based on soil moisture levels and weather conditions. The system minimizes water wastage, improves crop yield, and provides farmers with real-time monitoring and control via a mobile interface.

Project Tasks:

Research soil moisture sensors and environmental sensing technologies.

Integrate soil moisture and temperature sensors with a microcontroller.

Develop automated irrigation control logic.

Design a mobile/web dashboard for monitoring moisture levels.

Implement cloud storage for historical farm data.

Integrate weather API data for predictive irrigation scheduling.

Enable remote ON/OFF water pump control.

Test water efficiency improvements under controlled conditions.

Analyze system reliability in varying soil conditions.

Document system architecture and evaluation metrics.
