The objective of this project is to examine production processes and implement lean management principles to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance operational efficiency. The study focuses on identifying non-value-added activities and recommending continuous improvement strategies.
Study existing production processes and workflow structure.
Identify different types of waste (overproduction, waiting, defects, excess inventory).
Conduct value stream mapping to analyze process flow.
Collect data on production cycle time and defect rates.
Evaluate workforce utilization and machine efficiency.
Suggest lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Just-in-Time (JIT).
Analyze cost savings from waste reduction initiatives.
Develop performance metrics to measure lean implementation success.
Compare operational performance before and after improvements.
Recommend continuous improvement plan for long-term sustainability.
Present findings using charts and operational dashboards.
Prepare detailed project report with implementation roadmap.
