Potholes are a significant problem on roads worldwide, causing accidents, vehicle damage, and discomfort to commuters. Traditional methods of pothole detection involve manual inspections, which are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and prone to errors. This project leverages machine learning and computer vision to automate the detection process. By using a combination of image processing and deep learning algorithms, the system can detect potholes from images or video feeds captured by dashcams, drones, or roadside cameras. The project can also integrate GPS to pinpoint the exact location of detected potholes and send alerts to local authorities for repair.
