Project Objectives:

The objective of this project is to design a system that monitors urban noise levels across different zones and analyzes pollution patterns. The system helps authorities identify high-noise areas and supports implementation of regulatory and environmental noise control measures.

Project Tasks:

Study causes and impacts of urban noise pollution.

Identify permissible noise limits as per environmental standards.

Design a database to store location-wise noise readings.

Develop modules for manual or simulated sensor data entry.

Implement algorithms to calculate average and peak noise levels.

Create zone-based noise classification (residential, industrial, commercial).

Develop graphical dashboards to visualize trends.

Implement alert notifications for threshold violations.

Generate monthly and yearly analytical reports.

Test the system using simulated urban data.

Evaluate effectiveness in identifying high-risk zones.

Propose IoT integration for real-time monitoring.
